The town of Saint Pierre d&#8217;Albigny, the southern gateway to the <strong>Massif des Bauges<\/strong> in<strong> Savoie,<\/strong> has a population of 3958. It is part of the <strong>Coeur de Savoie<\/strong> community of municipalities, which includes the towns of Montm\u00e9lian and La Rochette. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9f10ba2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9f10ba2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Situated halfway between <strong>Albertville<\/strong> and <strong>Chamb\u00e9ry<\/strong>, it is on the sunny side of the Arclusaz mountain range, which is so distinctive among the Savoie and <strong>Combe de Savoie<\/strong> hills.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3c8bf94 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3c8bf94\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Saint Pierre d&#8217;Albigny is a town that is highly prized by its residents for its lifestyle and exceptional location. It is located in Savoie&#8217;s \u2018Golden Triangle\u2019, close to Chamb\u00e9ry, Albertville and Grenoble. It is very close to the various urban centres of the <strong>Rh\u00f4ne Alpes region<\/strong>: 20 minutes from Chamb\u00e9ry, 30 from Albertville, 45 minutes from <strong>Grenoble<\/strong> and <strong>Annecy<\/strong> and 1 hour from <strong>Lyon<\/strong>. This makes it an ideal base for visiting all the tourist attractions in the Rh\u00f4ne Alpes region.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5f43a29 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"5f43a29\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a475cfb elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a475cfb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">A very interesting cultural and historical heritage<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a63cceb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a63cceb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>The town of Saint Pierre d&#8217;Albigny<\/strong> and the Combe de Savoie in general also boast some very interesting historical monuments, including the <strong>Ch\u00e2teau de Miolans<\/strong>, which protected the Combe de Savoie from various invasions in the Middle Ages, <strong>the towers of Chignin<\/strong>, and the <strong>Cathedral of Myans<\/strong> and its golden virgin built after the collapse of <strong>Mont Granier<\/strong>, which \u2018miraculously\u2019 saved the village.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5e658db e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"5e658db\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c770557 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c770557\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The Saint Pierre d'Albigny leisure park, a favorite with locals.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d9f0568 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d9f0568\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The leisure centre, and therefore the campsite, is located downstream from the town of St Pierre d&#8217;Albigny. It comprises the lake, <strong>which has been awarded the Blue Flag since 2018<\/strong> and is also <strong>renowned for its fishing<\/strong>, and the beach, where you&#8217;ll find plenty of shady spots and <strong>supervised swimming in July and August.<\/strong> There&#8217;s also a restaurant and activities that change from year to year, such as <strong>pedalo <\/strong>and <strong>paddle boat hire<\/strong>, <strong>buoys<\/strong>, etc. You&#8217;ll also find a play area in addition to the one already on the campsite.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Savoie campsite is located just below the town of St Pierre d&#8217;Albigny.
