Editorial Correction Policy of the webCamping du Lac de Carouge

At the Camping du Lac de Carouge in Savoie, we attach great importance to the
reliability and regular updating of our content.
Our editorial correction policy aims to ensure that our holidaymakers receive
clear, accurate and up-to-date information about the campsite, Lake Carouge and the region.

1. Accuracy and reliability of information

We do our utmost to publish reliable content from the moment it is first posted online:

  • Checking practical information (prices, opening dates, services, activities) before publication;

  • Validating content relating to safety, site rules and important guidelines;

  • Checking the website’s main pages (accommodation, contact, access, activities) at regular intervals.

    2. Regular updates to content

Information may change over the course of the seasons. For this reason:

    • Pages likely to change (events, services, opening hours, prices) are updated annually, and where necessary during the season;

    • Significant changes (for example, changes to opening hours or service availability) are clearly indicated;

    • Outdated content is corrected, supplemented or removed to avoid any confusion.

      3. Error management and corrections

Despite our best efforts, errors may occur. In such cases:

      • Factual errors (dates, prices, opening hours, practical information) are corrected as soon as they are detected;

      • Where relevant, a clarification or note may be added to explain the correction;

      • Content that is ambiguous or could be misleading is reworded for greater clarity.

        4. Transparency towards our holidaymakers

Trust is essential in our relationship with our holidaymakers. We are committed to:

        • Provide clear information in the event of any significant changes to information previously provided;

        • Avoid any misleading or exaggerated descriptions of our services, accommodation or activities;

        • Promote honest communication that reflects the reality of the campsite and the region.

          5. Taking holidaymakers’ feedback on board

Feedback from our holidaymakers is invaluable for improving our content:

          • Comments highlighting an error or inaccurate information are carefully reviewed;

          • Where a correction is warranted, it is made as soon as possible;

          • Recurring feedback may lead to a complete overhaul of a page to make it clearer.

            6. Continuous improvement of editorial content

Our correction policy forms part of a process of continuous improvement:

            • Regular review of texts to make them more readable and useful;

            • Updating information on activities around Lake Carouge and in Savoie;

            • Adapting content to the actual needs of holidaymakers (FAQs, practical guides, holiday tips, etc.).
