There is a small play area on the campsite with a swing, slide and spring games. There is also a sports field with a volleyball net, basketball hoop and mini football cages. Around the campsite, you’ll also find plenty of other sports to enjoy (golf, tennis…).

Lake Carouge

The campsite borders directly on Lake Carouge, a small, relatively unknown lake in Savoie. Here, you won’t be swamped by tourists, but you will be among the locals. There’s a lovely beach with lifeguard surveillance during the season. A small swimming area for the little ones is set up in front of the lifeguard station so that everyone can enjoy a safe swim. The water is so crystal-clear that you can see little fish swimming by your feet (the lake has been awarded the ‘blue flag’ label since 2018) and the temperature is a pleasant 16° to 20° C. The campsite beach is very flat, which is ideal for children.

You can, of course, fish in the lake. You can buy a permit in the village or online by clicking on this link. Lac de Carouge offers a wide variety of fish for anglers.

Around Lac de Carouge, you can enjoy a nice walk along the banks. You can also hire pedalos, small boats or paddles on the lake for a ride on the water.

Mountain hiking and climbing have long been very popular in the Alps. However, the via ferrata, which literally means ‘iron road’, is gaining in popularity. In this activity, you walk and climb along a pre-established, safe route. Remaining safe throughout, the route includes various aids to facilitate the climb, such as iron ladders, staircases and footbridges. A stimulating activity that takes you to some of the most beautiful spots in our beautiful region. There are some wonderful routes in the area around the campsite, so don’t hesitate to ask us for information and book your session with our guide Bastien.

Rafting

One of the most popular activities in the Alps is rafting, where you float down the river on an inflatable raft. Rafting trips on the Isère are organised about 45 minutes’ drive away, near Aime. Service providers offer varying lengths of experience, depending on your level and preferences. The itineraries are varied and include areas of calm water, where you can let yourself go and marvel at the surrounding nature, but also various rapids that are still very easy to access.

For beginners or those looking for more of a challenge, there’s something for everyone on the longer routes.
