Are you looking for a nice campsite to come and fish in Savoie? Look no further, you’ve come to the right place.
Our lakes and rivers are lined with many species of fish.
The Lac de Carouge campsite is located on the banks of the lake of the same name, which is well known in the area for its large number of fish species. In its crystal-clear waters, you’ll find pike, rainbow trout and carp, as well as other more exotic species such as whitefish, which are native to Alpine lakes, and even American crayfish.
In the lake and surrounding streams, you can enjoy your favourite activity alone, with family or friends.
A campsite by the water.
Our campsite is close to the lake, so you won’t need to take the car to get to the lake. Just take your fishing rod and boots and enjoy your favourite activity.
In the evening, you can cook your catch of the day on our barbecue. What a joy to eat the fresh fish we’ve just caught and enjoy a healthy, natural meal with your family on your campsite pitch or on the terrace of your mobile home.
Of course, you’ll need a fishing licence to do this.
You can obtain one either in the village at the newspaper shop or the easiest way, directly from the Savoie fishing federation website. Various types of subscription are available: by the day, for a few days, by the week, by the month and, of course, by the year. There are also subscriptions for children, which you can find out about directly on the website.
Campsite with a lake and streams for fishing
Our Savoie campsite is ideally situated for fishing enthusiasts, with direct access to Lac de Carouge. You can also venture out into the well-stocked rivers around the campsite.
For those who enjoy very intensive fishing, you can visit Lac de Barouchat, a fishing lake directly managed by the Savoie fishing federation and dedicated solely to piscicultural pleasure. In this lake, you can find beautiful trout or pike. You can also enjoy a great day’s fishing in Savoie on Lac du Bourget or even Lac d’Annecy.
