Are you looking for a family-friendly campsite in Savoie where the children can keep themselves entertained without spending the whole holiday in the car? At lac de Carouge, swimming, games and walks are just a stone’s throw from your accommodation. Here’s what a summer’s day is like here.
Fresh bread and pastries arrive at reception from 8 am. First dip in the swimming pool, which opens at 9.30 am.
A picnic in the shade by the lake, or a pizza from the snack bar – to eat in or take away.
Supervised swimming in the lake, pedalos or stand-up paddleboarding, followed by a treasure hunt or a football tournament with the other campers.
In July and August, the children dance and sing on the terrace with our activity leader until around 10.30 pm.
Swimming pool or lake: two places to swim just a stone’s throw away
There’s no need to take the car to go for a swim: there’s a swimming pool on the campsite, and the lakeside beach is just a minute’s walk away.

The 6 × 15 m pool is heated to 27 °C. It is between 0.80 and 1.30 m deep, and a shallow entry area allows little ones to splash about safely. Around the pool, a 250 m² sunbathing area is available for parents. The pool is open from 9.30 am to 7 pm. Discover the pool
Le lac de Carouge, plage Pavillon bleu
The lakeside beach is a minute’s walk from the campsite. Awarded Blue Flag status every year, the lake is supervised by lifeguards from 9 am to 6 pm in July and August, and the water temperature ranges from 17 to 22 °C. Games and activities for children
At our family-friendly campsite in Savoie, the playground (with a swing, slide and spring-loaded play equipment) is next to the multi-sports area, which features a volleyball net, a basketball hoop and mini football pitches. Table tennis tables and a pétanque court round off the facilities.
In July and August, our activities coordinator organises afternoons of games and tournaments: treasure hunts, football, volleyball, table tennis and pétanque, open to both children and parents. In the early evening, the children gather on the terrace to dance and sing. The weekly programme is available on the campsite’s app.
And what about teenagers?
Football, volleyball or table tennis tournaments with the other campers, and thrills less than an hour away: our rafting partners are about a 50-minute drive away, whilst tree-top adventure courses, via ferrata and paragliding are available in the vicinity of the campsite. All activities
Peace and quiet, too
The entertainment evenings finish at around 10.30 pm. After that, the campsite returns to its usual tranquillity, so that young and old alike can enjoy a good night’s sleep.
A family-friendly campsite in Savoie, well-equipped for young children
A baby cot can be provided as an optional extra in all our accommodation, except the Bilbao studios. In the bathrooms, you will find family cubicles, child-height washbasins, a nappy-changing table and a baby bath.
A laundry room (with a washing machine and tumble dryer) is available for your use, and there is a supermarket 800 metres away. If you’ve forgotten anything, the mini-market at reception will help you out.
Don’t feel like cooking? The snack bar serves pizzas, burgers and chips, to eat in or take away. The bar also has ice creams for the whole family.
Accommodation to suit your family’s needs
For a family holiday in Savoie, choose your accommodation based on the size of your family. For a family of four, the two-bedroom mobile homes and Moréa chalets each have two proper bedrooms. For a family of five or six, the three-bedroom mobile homes and our 49 m² eco-lodges, near the lake, offer plenty of space for everyone. Do you prefer a tent, a caravan or a motorhome? Our pitches range from 90 to 120 m².
