Camping du Lac de Carouge is taking your comfort to the next level. We are proud to present our new aquatic area, a true haven of peace nestled at the foot of the Alps. This 6 x 15 meter pool has been designed to blend in perfectly with our unspoiled environment, offering an elegant place to cool off where every swim becomes an exceptional moment in the heart of Savoie.
A spectacular view of the Dent d'Arclusaz
What makes our pool unique in France is its breathtaking panorama. Imagine floating in crystal-clear water while gazing at the Dent d’Arclusaz, the iconic peak that watches over the campsite. Between the blue of the water, the green of the peaks, and the azure of the Savoyard sky, you can enjoy an immersive swimming experience where the mountains invite you in with every stroke.
An underwater beach for the little ones
The safety and development of children are our priorities. As soon as they enter the water, a submerged beach welcomes the youngest children for their first water games. This shallow area allows little ones to get used to the water in complete confidence, under the watchful eye of their parents. It’s the ideal place to share laughter with your family as soon as the sun comes out.
A progressive pool for tailor-made relaxation
The architecture of our pool has been designed to meet all needs. Thanks to comfortable steps, you can access a progressive depth ranging from 80 cm to 1.30 meters. Whether you want to swim a few laps to tone your body or simply relax without losing your footing, the layout of our family pool is suitable for all types of vacationers, from swimmers to those who prefer to laze around.
Benches and active contemplation
To prolong your well-being, we have incorporated two submerged benches on either side of the pool. Comfortably seated in water at the ideal temperature, you can chat, read, or simply meditate while enjoying the alpine landscape. Few campsites in Savoie offer such a high level of aquatic comfort combined with such a majestic view: it is the luxury of simplicity and contemplation.
Solarium and relaxation under the Alpine sun
Around the pool, a large solarium equipped with deckchairs awaits you for your moments of rest. After a hike in the Bauges mountains or a bike ride, enjoy this space dedicated to sunbathing and napping. The choice of natural materials and soft colors respects the “nature and comfort” spirit that defines our establishment, creating a soothing visual harmony.
Hygiene and comfort: water of impeccable quality
In order to guarantee you a healthy and enjoyable swimming experience, we apply strict hygiene rules. As in any establishment open to the public, swimming shorts are not allowed (traditional swimsuits are mandatory). Our teams carry out rigorous daily maintenance of the water and surrounding areas, allowing you to enjoy a clean, safe environment that respects everyone’s health.
Magical evenings and swimming under the stars
The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. In high season, Camping du Lac de Carouge extends the magic with evening events. Imagine swimming in sparkling water under a starry sky, with the silhouette of the Arclusaz looming in the night. These magical moments, open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the day and during special events in the evening, will undoubtedly become your fondest holiday memories.
Construction update: pool opening soon
Our new aquatic area is currently in the final stages of construction. Work is progressing steadily to provide you with a high-quality facility for the upcoming season.
Barring unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, the pool is scheduled to open no later than mid-May.
In any case, the pool will be fully open and accessible from June 1st, ensuring you can enjoy it during your summer stay at Camping du Lac de Carouge.
We are doing everything possible to ensure every detail is perfectly completed, in harmony with the natural setting that defines our campsite.
