Glamping in style on the shores of Lac de Carouge
With 49 m² of tent space—not including the terrace—the ecolodge is the most spacious of our accommodations. With room for six, there’s plenty of space for everyone: the parents have their own bedroom, the kids have theirs, and there’s a real living room where the whole family can gather. Our two lodge tents are set up on the shores of Lac de Carouge, in Saint-Pierre-d’Albigny, Savoie.
A lodge tent by the lake
That’s the first delight of the stay: opening the door in the morning and finding the lake right in front of you. Breakfast is served overlooking the water, with the mountains of Savoie as a backdrop. The beach is a two-minute walk away—close enough to head back there after a nap.
Enough room for six, really
The ecolodge was designed for families who like to have plenty of space. With its large sofa and table that seats six, the living room is a true gathering place: it’s where you play cards and have dinner on rainy evenings. On those evenings, the TV picks up digital terrestrial broadcasts, and Wi-Fi is free.
Three bedrooms for a family of six
The parents sleep in a large 160 bed. In the second bedroom, there are two single beds. In the third, there are bunk beds, which the children will fight over starting the very first night. A crib can be added upon request.
A home kitchen, including a dishwasher
Here, we cook just like at home, with everything we need to prepare a meal for the whole family. The large refrigerator keeps the week’s groceries fresh. After dinner, the dishwasher takes over.
A covered patio overlooking the lake
This is where you’ll spend your day. The covered terrace extends the ecolodge toward the lake: you can have lunch there in the shade, and in the evening, enjoy an aperitif with a view of the mountains. To accompany your meal, we’d be delighted to introduce you to the wines from our local vintners in the Combe de Savoie. Each ecolodge also has its own Weber grill, ready for evening barbecues.

At the campground: the beach is just two minutes away, and there's a pool on site
Located on the lakefront, the eco-lodges are just a two-minute walk from the beach and feature a heated swimming pool on the campground grounds. Between swims, the cycle route runs right past the entrance, and the Bauges massif trails are nearby.

Does the ecolodge really have a view of the lake?
Yes. Both ecolodges are located on the shores of Lac de Carouge, with a view from the terrace, and the beach is a two-minute walk away.
How many people can we accommodate?
Accommodates up to 6 people in three bedrooms: one double bed, two single beds, and a bunk bed. A crib can be added upon request.
Is the ecolodge heated or air-conditioned?
No, it doesn’t have heating or air conditioning. Blankets are provided for the cooler nights at the beginning and end of the season.
Is Wi-Fi free?
Yes, Wi-Fi is free at the ecolodge for up to four connected devices. The TV runs on Android TV and also receives digital terrestrial television (DTT).
Is there a barbecue?
Yes, each ecolodge has its own Weber grill on the covered deck.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed in the ecolodges.
Are sheets provided?
No. They are required: bring your own or rent them as an optional extra when you make your reservation.
Can we make a reservation for a few nights?
Yes, for stays of 2 nights or more, except in July and August. In July and August, the ecolodge is rented on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday.
