A small vacation home at the Camping du Lac de Carouge campground in Savoie, this air-conditioned chalet sleeps 4 people in two full bedrooms. We have two Moréa chalets: one has a small view of the lake, and the other overlooks the Dent d’Arclusaz.
Cool in the summer, warm in September
When the sun beats down on the Combe de Savoie, we head inside to cool off in the air-conditioned chalet: the living room remains a pleasant place for a nap or an afternoon snack. The air conditioning is reversible. So, in the spring and at the end of the season, it warms up the chalet as soon as the evenings get cooler, and space heaters provide additional warmth.
Two bedrooms for a family of four
The parents have their own bedroom with a double bed, and the children have their own with two single beds. In the evening, everyone retreats to their own space, and the living room sofa stays free for card games. The bathroom and the toilet are separate, so in the morning, everyone can get ready at their own pace.
A fully equipped kitchen for family meals
Here, you can prepare breakfast for the kids as well as dinner, with everything you need to cook just like at home. The living room table brings the whole family together, and the TV picks up digital terrestrial broadcasts for rainy evenings.
A partially covered patio for outdoor living
Measuring 16 m², the terrace extends the chalet outdoors. The covered area provides shelter from both the midday sun and summer showers. In the evening, you can enjoy an aperitif there while gazing at the mountains, and the front desk will lend you a grill.

From the air-conditioned cabin, it’s just a two-minute walk to the Camping du Lac de Carouge’s heated swimming pool and the beach on Lac de Carouge. For more active days, the cycle route runs right past the entrance, and the Bauges massif lies just beyond.

Does the Moréa chalet have air conditioning?
Yes, it’s an air-conditioned cabin: the living room is equipped with a reversible air conditioning system, which cools the space in the summer and heats it at the beginning and end of the season. The cabin also has space heaters.
How many people can we accommodate?
Maximum of 4 people: one double bed (140 × 190) in the master bedroom and two single beds (80 × 190) in the second bedroom. The living room sofa is not a sofa bed. A crib can be added upon request.
Do the cabins have a view of the lake?
One of the two chalets has a small view of the lake; the other overlooks the Dent d’Arclusaz. You can request the lakeside chalet when you make your reservation, subject to availability.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, your pets are welcome in the cabin for an additional fee.
Is Wi-Fi included?
No, there is a charge for Wi-Fi. The TV receives digital terrestrial channels.
Are sheets provided?
No. They are required: bring your own or rent them as an optional extra when you make your reservation.
What time do we arrive and leave?
The cabin is available starting at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Can we make a reservation for a few nights?
Yes, for stays of 2 nights or more, except in July and August. In July and August, the cabin is rented on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday.
