Six people, three bedrooms, and a cool living room: this air-conditioned 3-bedroom mobile home is our largest option for summer in Savoie, at Camping du Lac de Carouge. It measures 32 m², and we have three of them.
A Cool Getaway for Six During the Hottest Part of the Day
When July brings the heat to the Combe de Savoie, the whole group gathers in the air-conditioned living room for a snack or some games. The air conditioning is reversible: at the beginning and end of the season, it heats the room.
Parents on one side, children on the other
The master bedroom has a double bed; the other two bedrooms each have two single beds. The bathroom, with a shower and sink, is separate from the toilet.
Cooking for Large Families
You can easily prepare meals for six people there, and the dining table in the living room stays cool for lunch. When evening comes, the front desk will lend you a barbecue.
A patio for long July evenings
The covered patio is furnished with outdoor furniture: we have dinner there once the heat of the day has subsided, and then we linger there into the evening.

At the campground: the heated swimming pool and the lake are just a stone's throw away
Between dips in the water, the campground’s heated swimming pool and the supervised beach at Lake Carouge keep us busy in the afternoons. The cycle route runs right past the entrance, and the trails of the Bauges massif begin just behind it.

Frequently asked questions
Do the rooms have air conditioning?
No: it’s in the living room, where we gather during the warmer months. Since it’s reversible, it also heats the room at the beginning and end of the season.
How many people can we accommodate?
Up to 6: one double bed (140 × 190) and four single beds (80 × 190), in three bedrooms.
Does the mobile home have a dishwasher?
No, there’s no dishwasher or TV. Our VIP Ecolodge, on the other hand, is equipped with both—and it sleeps six people, too.
Can we connect to the Internet?
Wi-Fi is available at the campground for an additional fee.
Are pets allowed?
They are welcome, for an additional fee per night.
Do I need to bring my own sheets?
Yes, or rent them as an optional extra when making your reservation: they are required.
Can we come for a short stay?
Stays of at least 2 nights in the spring and late season. In July and August, stays are by the week, from Saturday to Saturday.
