Activities at the campsite in Savoie: there’s plenty going on by day, and we sleep at night
A kids’ club in the morning, big games in the afternoon, karaoke or a Savoyard evening in the evening. In July and August, there’s never a dull moment at our campsite with entertainment in Savoie! But at 10.30 pm, the music stops and lac de Carouge returns to its peaceful self.

Here, we don’t have a huge club or mascots, but we do have an activities leader, simple games and plenty of good humour. This is what a summer’s day is like at our campsite with entertainment in Savoie.

Campsite kids’ club and kids’ disco: the children’s programme
The kids’ club, from 10 am to midday
In July and August, our activity leader looks after the children in the mornings, five days a week (not on Saturdays or Mondays). She also speaks English – which is handy for families from abroad! On the programme: drawing, crafts, face painting or group games, depending on what takes their fancy that day. There isn’t really an age limit, but most children are aged between 4 and 12. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy the heated swimming pool or a coffee on the terrace.
The mini-disco, on certain evenings
On some evenings, the activity leader invites the children to gather on the terrace just before dinner. Then we dance, sing and laugh! The little ones love it, but the older children and teenagers often get swept up in the fun too. To find out which evenings this takes place, have a look at the weekly programme.
Major games and tournaments: parents are getting involved too
In the afternoon, it’s time for big games: treasure hunts, Stratego, and tournaments of football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis and pétanque. It’s also a chance for the children to catch up with their friends from the mini-club. But before long, teenagers and adults are getting caught up in the fun too, whether with their families or with fellow campers.
When there are no organised activities, the sports pitches remain open to the public. The playground (with a swing, slide and spring-loaded play equipment) is situated right next to the multi-sports pitch. The latter features a volleyball net, a basketball hoop and mini football pitches. And if they’re still not satisfied, children will also find a second playground at the lac de Carouge leisure centre.
Evenings at the campsite: karaoke, sausages and open-air cinema
In the evening, the atmosphere really picks up a notch. There’s no need to cook, as the snack bar serves pizzas, draught beer and wines from Savoie. Then the party gets underway. Whenever we can, we add a concert or a DJ set to the programme.
The Sunday welcome drinks
Every Sunday at 6 pm, we get to know each other over a drink. The team then introduces you to our partners and the week’s programme.
Karaoke
With a microphone in hand, everyone takes turns singing their favourite hit. The shy ones clap… and often end up singing along too!
The Savoyard Evening
A typical meal featuring diots and local specialities, as well as a glass of wine from a local winegrower.
Open-air cinema
On Saturdays, a film under the stars: the children make new friends whilst their parents get a bit of a breather.

A quiet campsite in Savoie, from 10.30 pm
Entertainment, yes, but not at the expense of your night’s sleep. Our evening events finish around 10.30 pm, after which the campsite returns to its peaceful state until morning. That’s also the advantage of a small, intimate campsite: just 85 pitches, nestled between Lake lac de Carouge and the Bauges mountains.
Do you like going to bed early? Let us know when you book, and we’ll try to allocate you a pitch a little way from the terrace. To be on the safe side, the ‘guaranteed pitch’ option secures your chosen pitch on the campsite map. But if your children don’t want to miss a thing, you’d be better off setting up right next to it!
Our campsite in Savoie only organises activities in July and August. In spring and September, life here takes on a more relaxed pace, making it ideal for couples and walkers.
Quiet time is just as important as party time. Our evenings finish around 10.30 pm so that young and old alike can get a good night’s sleep.

Between activities, you can also pop over to the heated swimming pool or the lakeside beach, just a stone’s throw away. For those looking for a more active day out, Savoie also offers rafting, canyoning, via ferrata and cycling along the Belle Via.

Do the activities take place throughout the season?
No, the entertainment at our campsite in Savoie takes place in July and August. In spring and September, it’s therefore quieter – perfect for a rest.
Do we have to pay for the entertainment?
No, all our activities are free for campsite guests. You only need to pay for meals and drinks at the snack bar.
From what age can children join the kids’ club?
There is no strict age limit, but most children are aged between 4 and 12. The kids’ club runs from 10.00 am to midday, except on Saturdays and Mondays.
Is the campsite noisy in the evening?
Not after 10.30 pm, as that’s when our evenings come to an end. After that, it’s quiet until morning.
Can adults take part?
Of course! The big games, tournaments and evening events are also open to adults. Only the mini-club and the mini-disco are reserved for children.
