Welcome to Yohann and Virginie’s place. For over 20 years, our campground has been a haven for those seeking the perfect balance between adventure and the good life. After a hike along the wild trails of our mountain ranges, you have the luxury of choice: a dip in the invigorating waters of the lake or a plunge into the azure of our brand-new pool. This new aquatic space, a true mirror reflecting the peaks, is an invitation to both relaxation and shared laughter.

Whether you’re a camping purist, settled on one of our spacious pitches shaded by lush trees, or seeking the ultimate comfort of our VIP Lodge Tents and VIP Mobile Homes with lake-view terraces, you’re booking much more than just a holiday. At Camping du Lac de Carouge, a 3-star campsite in Savoie, we invite you to choose the setting for your next holiday in Savoie. Whether you’re a fan of traditional camping or a lover of luxury, our site is an ode to the great outdoors.
The campsite has 85 pitches: 57 spacious pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, sheltered by hedges and offering plenty of shade, and 28 mobile homes, chalets and lodge tents.

Cosy Mobile Homes & Chalets: Living spaces for 4 to 6 people, perfectly laid out with fully equipped kitchens, separate bedrooms, and terraces to enjoy your meals in the great outdoors.
The VIP Lodge Tent Glamping Experience: Dare to try something out of the ordinary without compromise. Equipped with a dishwasher, private bathrooms, and three bedrooms, our lodges combine a “safari” spirit with modern comfort.
The Height of Comfort: Our VIP Mobile Homes: Succumb to our latest additions. With their air conditioning, high-end furnishings, and large panoramic terrace with a direct view of the lake, they offer an exceptional experience for your vacation.
Because the joy of vacation should be shared by all, our grounds are entirely flat, making it easy for everyone to get around. We also offer a modern accessible chalet perfectly suited for guests with limited mobility.

Forget the chill of mountain streams: here, our pool is heated to 27°C throughout the season, offering you the pleasure of a perfect swim from morning to night, no matter the mood of the Alpine sky.
Discover a spacious 6 x 15-meter pool, ideal for a few invigorating laps upon waking or for unwinding after a day of hiking in the Bauges. We’ve paid special attention to families:
- The Shallow End: A gently sloping area so the little ones can discover the joys of the water in complete safety and under their parents’ watchful eye.
- Controlled Depth: With a maximum depth of 1.30 m, swimming remains a sociable activity accessible to everyone.
- The Panoramic Solarium: Enjoy over 250 m² of furnished terrace space. Comfortably settled on one of our lounge chairs under a parasol, you can perfect your tan while admiring the breathtaking view of the surrounding peaks.
Whether you’re looking to relax completely or seeking a cosy spot for your family and friends to get together, our swimming pool is much more than just a pool: it’s the blue heart of your stay at Lac de Carouge.

From our campsite in Savoie, Chambéry is less than 30 minutes away, whilst Aix-les-Bains and Annecy are less than an hour away. Bauges, Belledonne, the great lakes, Mont Blanc: all can be visited on a day trip.

Heated swimming pool and lake
A swimming pool heated to 27°C, with a shallow end for children, and Lake Carouge just 50 metres from the campsite. For thrill-seekers, rafting, paragliding and via ferrata can be booked through our partners.
Exploring Savoie by bike and on foot
The cycle route linking Albertville to Chambéry is accessible directly from the campsite. For hiking, the trails of the Bauges Massif start just a few kilometres away.
